The building known as 19 Centennial Street, is a residential unit occupied by the owner, JB Firth. It is a wood frame building supported by the following number of piles:
- Residence: 19 Piles
- Centennial Street : 24 Piles
All piles were inspected after excavation, with a general excavation depth of 24”. During inspection, 23 piles were classified as having surface rot, and one pile as full rot. At this time all piles were recommended for full pile remediation using the blocking system as per Appendix C. All piles were recorded as being previously remediated.
