Canadian Quest Logistics (CQL) Inc performed an analysis of a residential home for a client in Inuvik, NT. The home owner noticed significant cracking of the drywall throughout the home and requested CQL to perform a structural analysis of the home to understand the cause. The homeowner was not able to provide us with foundation or floor plans, as a result it was required to develop these plans. All locations of cracking were recorded, as well as any other defects. A foundation inspection was completed, as it was anticipated that the movement was a result of some form of foundation movement. Once digital copies of the plans were completed, the building was modeled to gain an understanding of the building reactions. A final report will be presented to the client that will included our finding and any recommendations.
