In June 2013, our company signed a joint Venture agreement with the Gwich’in Development Corporation. Under the leadership of Roger Anderson, CQL has provided Independent Engineering services to various projects led by the Gwich’in Development Coporation.

In November, the GDC proposed the Engineering Services for the Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk Highway to Mr. Kevin McLeod, Director of Higways and Marine Service Division from the Department of Transportation, Government of NWT.

The GDC team led by Roger Anderson from CQL, would:

1.  Assist in the overall management of the Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk Highway project, by verifying progress payments and key  milestones (schedule / budget / and quality)
2.  Provide independent certification of work-in-progress
3.  Assist in dispute resolution (acting as a referee in accordance with the construction contract and assist in claims processing providing recommendations for resolution to the parties.
4.  Provide an independent opinion on whether substantial completion, as defined by the construction contract, has been achieved.
5.  Sign-off on each project draw and review the situation as required in order to provide recommendations to the project
